"...'Cause I love how it feels when I'm breaking chains..."
Great song by Imagine Dragons. "Whatever It Takes". I'm at that point right now. I'll do whatever it takes to get my site done. To get my business going. To catch up on my projects. I need to hustle more. I've got a lot to do. I have recently made a new music video. (just for fun) Completely unscripted. But I love how it turned out. I'm planning on posting it this weekend. In the meantime, I've got pictures to organize, edit and upload. Work is crawling at this point. Like I said, I just have to work harder. Time to hustle. I want to get some momentum going again. I feel like I'll never get my business off the ground. And I don't like that feeling. I want to know it's going to happen. I'm going to get it off the ground. Have a launch date. Something!!! Time to hustle. That's all I know. We're still at the temporary house. Still having to come to church to use the internet. But I at least wanted to post something. Things are happening. You just can't see it. Thanks for reading. Check back for more updates. -LM

Listening to Lorde - "Green Light" off her new album "Melodrama". You seriously need to look it up and have a listen. It's been my anthem this year.
SO! HUGE setback. We have moved into a temporary home, so we can look for a permanent home. Our buyers wanted to get in quick. So we had no choice but to get out quick. And the new house we're staying at, does not have internet. This is good and bad. It's bad because, obviously, I can't work every day on my site like I have been doing. But it's good because it forces me to work on other projects. Like editing pictures and making videos. Which is MUCH NEEDED. So, that's where I'm at right now. I plan to come every Saturday to my church to use their internet to update my clients website, my website and my 365 challenge blog. In the meantime, I will:
It's a major setback. But I've been in this kind of situation before. Where I didn't have internet and I had to just work on what I could. And let me tell ya, it was a very productive time for me. So I'm dreading the next few months, but at the same time, I'm not. It's very strange. But it's where I'm at right now. As always, if I do something new to the site, I will post about it here. That's all for now. Thank you for reading, And thanks for visiting my site. -LM Well, the title sums it up.
I added all my poems and songs to the page, along with a little bio of how I got started with the whole "writing" scene. Check those out if you'd like. I need to update the header and the picture I have on there, but that will come later. Thanks for reading! -LM I'm so excited to be posting my first blog entry! I was using a different site to post my updates too. But I'm glad that now I won't have to do that anymore. My blog will be right here on the site. That is so exciting for me. And I know, whoever is reading this is probably like "man, that girl has issues. She's needs to get a life." Well, I like to think of it as... me... enjoying the simple things.
And if you were wondering about my other blog, where I used to post my updates at, you can visit it HERE. In case you wanted to check it out, for whatever reason. As far as updates go, the site is coming along nicely. I first constructed the home page. Once I had it to my liking, I moved on to the "Disclaimer" page. Then, I designed the "Contact" page. And then I worked on the "About" page. I very much like how that turned out. Then I moved on to setting up this page. The "updates" blog. If there's any big projects I'm working on, or a lot of new stuff coming up, I'll post about it here. Or if there's any new content that has been added to the site, I might say something about that too. Like, "hey, just posted a new photoshoot. Go check it out." Something of that sort. Speaking of which, the next big thing for me to do is my own photoshoot. I have a friend who is going to take some pictures of me, so I can have some professional looking pictures for not only my site, but for the business cards I plan to make one day. I'm not sure how it's going to go. Or how the pictures will look. But I don't have the money for a professional photoshoot. So I have to take a risk, get what I can get, and deal with it. I am excited though. And grateful that she's willing to do this for me. Well that's it for the first entry! Thank you for reading. Until next time, -LM |
